Welcome, Sheila!

I’d like to welcome Sheila Kromer to Ban the Ban Minnesota. Sheila has been an official member of Ban the Ban Minnesota for several weeks now, but I have not had an opportunity to let everyone know what a great honor it is to work with Sheila. Sheila is a true patriot and she has my utmost respect in everything she does.

For the 1 or 2 of you out there who are not familiar with Sheila, she’s been fighting the smoking ban for several years, and has dedicated a ton of time in 2007 lobbying against the smoking ban. Sheila also pioneered “Theatre Nights” here in Minnesota, which was no small undertaking.

Sheila finds the time to do this, somehow, in spite of the fact that she and her husband, Jim, own Barnacles Resort & Campground on the north shore of Mille Lacs Lake, AND she works full-time as a chemist. She’s also one of the nicest (and most humble) people you could ever hope to meet, although I wouldn’t recommend telling her that second-hand smoke is poison!!
