Time to talk about my time at the Olmsted County Fair this evening. Keep in mind, first of all, that Rich Peter(who I refer to as Dick Peter), the Environmental Health Director for Olmsted County, has been busy patting himself on the back for passing the ordinance that bans smoking at the Olmsted County Fair. Of [...]

Archie Anderson, a long time supporter of smoker’s rights, has this to say about Adam Steele:
Thanks for the notice that Adam Steele is running for 4th district rep. Adam gave me the non profit of ’smokers rights” over 20 years ago, He is a fighter and will be getting my 100.00 campaign donation.

For those of you that are not familar with PCR (political contributions refund), they are fairly simple. In the state of Minnesota you are allowed to contribute $50 (single) or $100 (married couple) to a candidate of your choice and then receive a refund from the state for that amount. Basically, you fill out a [...]

Adam Steele, who running for district 4A in northern Minnesota, had this to tell us:
Northern Herald (Adam’s Regional Publication) consistently supports smokers’ rights and property owners’ rights; and we have also made an effort to educate people that Secondhand Smoke Never Killed Anyone. Our issues usually contain a PSA that makes reference to the Enstrom/Kabat [...]

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 31st, I will be at the Minnesota Majority booth at the Olmsted County Fair in Rochester, MN from 6:00 until 10:00 PM. Apparently, the booth is next to the Rochester Post Bulletin’s Booth. If you care to stop by, talk about the ban, or other issues, please do that!

I’m starting with an analysis of the district found at the bottom of most lists, 67B. District 67B covers a portion of east Saint Paul, and has Sheldon Johnson as an incumbent on his 4th term.
Quite frankly, Sheldon has not been an ally of small businesses, and we’d like to see him go. We have [...]

As I mentioned in a previous post, Sheila and I have been busy vetting candidates running for Minnesota House, analyzing their responses, and deciding which candidates are most worthwhile to support. I’ve also accumulated quite a few email responses from candidates, and I believe it’s now time to share them with the world.
I will be [...]

I’d like to welcome Sheila Kromer to Ban the Ban Minnesota. Sheila has been an official member of Ban the Ban Minnesota for several weeks now, but I have not had an opportunity to let everyone know what a great honor it is to work with Sheila. Sheila is a true patriot and she has my [...]

Our blog has been quiet for awhile, but let me assure everyone that we have not gone away. In fact, we have been very busy contacting candidates on their thoughts of repealing and/or amending the smoking ban. We’ve actually got quite a few positive comments, which I will be posting as time permits.
Also, I still [...]

Shawn – I love your scorecard and it should prove to be very useful this November. It is time to inform the public of just where these candidates stand. Other states as well as countries are doing the same! We will not sit back and let them dicatate their agenda to us any longer….it is [...]
